Kia Pharmacy respects your privacy. This policy explains what limited personal information this website collects and how we use it. It covers the website only; in-pharmacy health records are governed separately by Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
What the forms collect
Each form asks for your name and phone number so we can call you back. Depending on your request, it also asks for a service and preferred appointment date and time; refill or transfer choice, current pharmacy, and pickup or delivery preference; or a general question and optional email address. The request type and selected website language are included with your submission. We do not ask for prescription numbers, health card numbers, or medical details. Please keep medical information out of the general question field; we confirm sensitive details by phone.
How we use it
We use this information solely to respond to your request — to call you back, prepare or transfer a prescription, or confirm an appointment. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
How form messages reach us
Form submissions are delivered to our pharmacy email through a third-party email service (Resend). They are transmitted over an encrypted connection. The website itself is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
Google services
The website retrieves public hours and rating information from our Google Business Profile. Your browser also contacts Google to load fonts and the embedded map on our contact page. These third-party requests share connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, and may include information about the referring page. Browser storage and analytics
The website uses your browser’s local storage to remember your chosen light or dark theme, and session storage to remember a dismissed seasonal notice during the current browsing session. You can remove these preferences by clearing this site’s browser data. We do not add advertising or analytics scripts to the website. The Google services described above have their own privacy practices.
